But like many successful product brands, they saw an opportunity to go further — to create a digital space that keeps users mentally sharp, not just physically healthy. Their existing mobile app wasn’t really doing justice to the brand. It was basic, had very little interactivity, and users weren’t sticking around. The experience felt flat — and it didn’t reflect what Focus Factor stood for: active, long-term cognitive wellness. On top of that, the app didn’t make it easy to discover or buy products. In short, it needed a serious upgrade — both in functionality and experience.
We rolled up our sleeves and rebuilt the app from the ground up — keeping the native stack with Swift and Kotlin, and adding a cross-platform game engine to power fun, bite-sized brain games. We also integrated Shopify directly into the app, so users could check out Focus Factor’s product range while staying in their wellness flow. The result? A much more vibrant, useful, and sticky experience.
